General Manager (HVAC)

Jobot is recruiting a General Manager to lead residential HVAC service operations in Wilmington, North Carolina. This onsite leadership role oversees daily service delivery, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development. You will partner with senior leadership to translate business goals into practical improvements that increase productivity and profitability while maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate brings substantial HVAC service management experience, strong financial judgment, and hands-on proficiency with ServiceTitan. Familiarity with Nexstar operating practices is valuable. Responsibilities span budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and performance analysis. What you'll do

• Oversee daily residential HVAC service operations and service quality.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and profitability targets.
• Use ServiceTitan to oversee scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer records.
• Lead, coach, and develop service teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements with senior leadership.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

What you'll bring

• At least 5 years of HVAC service management experience with demonstrated leadership success.
• Hands-on proficiency with ServiceTitan software.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to coach teams and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of HVAC regulations and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred; Nexstar familiarity valued.
