About the role

Meth-Wick Community is seeking a full-time Medication Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse for third shift in Custom Care, its assisted living program at The Manor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Join a community that has served residents for more than 65 years and supports their participation in decisions about daily life and care. You will provide compassionate overnight support to residents who need assistance but do not require full-time nursing care, working within your certification or nursing license. Nursing students with a medication technician certificate are encouraged to apply for practical experience and potential financial support toward their nursing education. What you'll do

• Administer medications within your credentials, authorized scope, and facility policies.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff.
• Assist residents with overnight care needs while respecting their preferences and independence.
• Maintain accurate medication records, care documentation, and shift handoff reports.
• Follow infection prevention, resident safety, and emergency response procedures.

What you'll bring

• Current medication technician certification or an active Iowa LPN or RN license appropriate to assigned duties.
• Availability to work full-time third shift.
• Ability to provide respectful, resident-centered assisted living care.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow medication safety procedures and work within your authorized scope of practice.
